In May of 2008 at the age of 8 months old, Peyton was diagnosed with Type 1 or “Insulin Dependent” Diabetes. It has since become our goal to raise both awareness and funds for the charities that improve the quality of life for those living with diabetes as well as those in search of a cure. We hope you will join us for a night of food, fun poker, great prizes and most importantly, good times with old friends!

All proceeds are donated to Diabetes Canada, more specifically to the summer program at Camp Jean Nelson near Water Valley, Alberta. D-Camps are a place where children with diabetes can go to enjoy summer camp in a medically supervised atmosphere. Diabetes is a 24-7 disease, and the children get to be away from their parents in a monitored “fun” experience with other children who also have diabetes. Along with typical camp activities, kids learn more about diabetes and gain more confidence to help manage their own healthcare.
